
Robert Schulman founded Seaweed Systems in 1993 and is the company's President. Mr. Schulman directs all aspects of company operations including developing new product strategies, growing partner relationships, and managing the company's senior staff. Prior to founding Seaweed Systems, Bob was a principal engineer at Jupiter Systems, where he built the world's first X Window System server outside of the original Project Athena in 1985. He has experience with Wind River® VxWorks® software dating to 1988, and he began developing Seaweed Systems' OpenGL® software products in 1994. Mr. Schulman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and a Master of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Martin Beeby joined Seaweed Systems in 2001, where serves as the company's Chief Quality Officer. Mr. Beeby has more than 12 years experience with DO-178B software development, and has held several key roles in managing and deploying software for real-time, safety- or mission-critical applications. Prior to joining Seaweed Systems, Martin was Senior Program Manager of Mentor Graphics' embedded software division. Earlier, he was at Allied Signal (Aerospace Equipment Systems), where he was responsible for all aspects of DO-178 certified software development for a flagship engine project. Prior to Allied, Martin held positions at Matra Marconi Space UK and with Rolls Royce Aero. Mr. Beeby has a BSc in Engineering Science from Warwick University in the UK.

Phil Cole joined Seaweed Systems in January 2002 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing to help fuel Seaweed Systems' growth into the DO-178B certifiable embedded graphics market. Prior to joining Seaweed Systems, Phil was Director of Marketing at engenuity Technologies where he led the initial product sales and marketing campaign for their DO-178B qualifiable graphics development tool VAPS®/QCG. Prior to joining engenuity Technologies, Phil held positions in other companies associated with the aerospace & defense sector including Air Safety International, Thales Training and Simulation, and GEC Marconi Avionics. Mr. Cole has a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Brighton University in the UK.
