Seaweed Systems specializes in making its products available to support as many different embedded platform architectures as possible. As such, Seaweed Systems is in a continuous process of porting its products to new platforms as they become available. This compatibility information is offered as a guide only — because support for specific platforms is constantly changing, we ask you to contact us to be sure that we support your platform.

SeaWind® X Window System Client Software

SeaWind X Window System Client software solutions have been ported to run on a wide range of CPUs, including:

  • Motorola® 68000 processors

  • MIPS® R3000TM, R4000TM, R7000 processors

  • HP Alpha processors

  • x86-architecture systems

  • SPARC®, UltraSPARC® processors

  • IBM® PowerPC® processors

Support for other CPUs may be available. Please contact us for specific availability information.

SeaWind X Window System Server Software

X Window System server solutions and OpenGL® with X Window System server solutions are available on many platforms today:

  • Wind River® VxWorks® operating-system support is available on GE Fanuc platforms including graphics PMC cards PMCGA2, PMCGA3, and PMCGA4. (GE Fanuc has an OEM agreement with Seaweed Systems, and software can be purchased directly from GE Fanuc if desired).

  • Wind River VxWorks OS is support available today for AITech's M580 graphics PMC board. (Software must be obtained from Seaweed Systems).

  • Wind River VxWorks OS support is available today for Synergy Microsystem's PVR9 graphics PMC, now available through Curtiss-Wright. (Software must be obtained from Seaweed Systems).

  • Wind River VxWorks OS support is available today for many other hardware platforms. Please contact us to verify that these products are available on your platform.

  • Green Hills® INTEGRITY® support is available on GE Fanuc platforms including graphics PMC cards PMCGA2, PMCGA3, and PMCGA4. (Software must be obtained from Seaweed Systems).

  • Green Hills INTEGRITY support is available today for many other platforms. Please contact us for details on whether these products are available on your platform.

  • LynuxWorks LynxOS operating-system support is available today for a number of platforms. Please contact us for details regarding your specific platform.

  • Support for other Operating Systems or platform combinations may be available; please contact us for details regarding your specific platform.

SeaWind/178 Software

Seaweed has delivered its COTS, certifiable, software solutions and certification packages (CertKit) to many customers already, providing support for multiple platform combinations. The following are examples of support already available:

  • Wind River VxWorks 653 support is available is today on GE Fanuc platforms including graphics PMC cards PMCGA3 and PMCGA4. (Software must be obtained from Seaweed Systems).

  • Green Hills INTEGRITY-178 support is available today on GE Fanuc platforms including graphics PMC cards PMCGA3, PMCGA4. (Software must be obtained from Seaweed Systems).

  • Wind River VxWorks 653, Green Hills INTEGRITY-178 and Lynuxworks LynxOS-178 support available on multiple other custom graphics platforms. Please contact us for details regarding your platform options or requirements.
